Our School

A Little British School in Paris

Join us at our new school for children between 3 and 6 years old for our English after-school programme! Our workshops take place from 16:30-18:30 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. These welcoming and playful lessons use games and entertaining activities to introduce the youngest children to the English language. Places are limited, as we accept a maximum of 8 children per group.

English Language Learning for Parisian Children

Little British Schools is very proud to announce that we have opened our first school in Paris !

We opened in January 2019 at 4 rue Michel-de-Bourges in a lovely part of the capital’s twentieth arrondissement neighbourhood.
This new school is the most recent stage in our longstanding mission to make English as accessible as possible for little children. It is our philosophy to guide students on their path to fluency by inspiring their curiosity on a daily basis.

Two Hours of English Every Day

Our English language workshops are held after school from 16:30 to 18:00 and are designed for children between the ages of 3 and 6. They take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the school year.

In launching this new adventure, Little British Schools draws upon our extensive experience offering English lessons to children at home and in Montessori schools.

Fun Activities for an Enjoyable Learning Experience

At the ages of 3 and 4, children possess exceptional cognitive abilities that allow them to learn rapidly and in dynamic ways. With this in mind, we approach each child’s introduction to English with a unique pedagogical programme. We base our lessons in song, dance, arts and crafts, and the seasons. For children, this presents a special opportunity to learn about flora, fauna, and everything to do with autumn, winter, spring and summer.

Your child can also enroll in our Arty Wednesday programme, where we focus on specific activities like theatre, painting, yoga and dance, all in English. The first Arty Wednesday workshop is designed for ages 6 to 9, from 13:30 to 15:30. The second workshop welcomes ages 3 to 6, from 16:00 to 18:00. We focus on creating an atmosphere of trust and have designed our space to be a warm and reassuring environment. As a result, our students are free to explore their full potential, and thrive. Learning English as a child should be both a pleasure and a joy !

You can also join our Saturday workshop open to children between 7-12 years old from 12:00 to 14h:00 to discover English and learn with fun.

We also organize workshops during the holidays for children aged from 3 to 7 from 10h00 to 12h00. The next workshop will take place in the April holidays from the 22nd to the 26th April 2019.

Drawing inspiration from the Montessori method, our approach to language considers how English is used in specific activities. At the beginning of each session, the children introduce themselves and greet their classmates. By learning simple words and daily interactions, and repeating these moments, your child will naturally develop the confidence to speak English spontaneously.

An Educational Space Where Children Can Thrive

Our school is part of an ambitious pedagogical initiative in the same innovative educational environment as Etincelles Montessori. This new school offers children a charming space where they can master the basics of reading, writing, and math. In this privileged environment, students advance and grow while also learning other skills like coding, geometry, and graphic art.

This space is also home to Colori, which introduces children between 3 and 6 to technology and coding, all without the use of screens!
